X-TERMINATORS Poker Crew

WELCOME TO THE WEBSITE!

The X-TERMINATORS Poker Crew initially was the brainchild of our current President and Vice President , Paul Valencia and Josh Nichols. With input from a core group of others the primary focus and drive was to make this a first rate Poker crew/club. The founding group tasked themselves, based on a love of Poker, to address the challenge and complexity of this game. Their goal was to form a membership committed to always continuing to learn more about it and improving themselves in becoming better Poker players.

The crew is primarily amateurs who wish to advance their game and possibly take that game to the next step one day. That’s what the crew enables us to do. The crew provides each other with instruction, discussion, participation and foremost competition. Add to those benefits additional funding to play in higher stake Casino events to winners of Crew Tournaments there is an definite possibility to advance to that next level.

If you see one of our members at a casino, ask about the Crew. We are looking for new members to join us in this quest of “a minute to learn, a lifetime to master”.

"When people ask me why I do what I do, and why I Love Poker, it’s a tough question to answer. Poker is a way of life. It is something so ingrained in us that it is impossible to describe to someone who doesn’t have those same feelings. Poker is funny that way; you either have it, or you don’t. There is no in-between. Of course, you can somewhat enjoy the game, but if that’s the case, you don’t really get what makes poker so special to those of us that love it. What is it that makes the game so special? Passion. Only those with a real passion for the game can truly understand it. Sure, there are people out there who say they were born to play poker, but we all know it takes a lot more than that to succeed. It takes grit, determination, skill, heart, and a whole lot of tears. True poker players have dedicated their life to the game. Every bit of literature on the game is read, every hand played is analyzed, and the agony of every bad beat lingers with us into the wee hours of the morning. Of course, there is a table full of new opponents to beat each day, but the real battle occurs within our heads. It is the drive to constantly overcome our own obstacles that keep us playing this wonderful game."
